If anything the Eurozone is falling apart, not coming together. Without England it will continue to decline, and it looks like the future of Spain is uncertain.

Wrong. If anything, Brexit made the rest more determined. Not to mention that Britain wasn't even a part of the Eurozone.

Yes, Brexit is the best news for the EU. The EU has a much better chance to succeed without the UK. The EU may one day stand up against the US when necessary, the UK will never choose to do so.

Poor Ireland.

Oh yes, those US-Americans. We need to stand up to them, they're evil, enemy of Europe!! How dare they have aided Europe in getting rid of the Nazis. How dare they have aided in promoting democracy across the continent.

What drivel from some on the continent.

He will then remind you how the US-influenced Western Europe was a hellhole while the Soviet-dominated Eastern Europe was a paradise!

It occurred to me that only very old Europeans can remember a time when the USA was in isolationist mode.

US aided Europe against Nazis because it was in it’s interest to do so. US helped Europe after WW2 because it was in it’s interest to do so. US also caused the mess in the middle east because it was in it’s interest to do so. US supported Islamists in many Muslim countries instead of seculars because it was in it’s interest to do so. So no you can’t trust US to always do the right thing for the world.

You need to take into consideration who Pueblofuerte was responding to. That user is notorious for whining about Western countries whenever he gets the chance.

As to your other point, you are both right and wrong. No, the US did not cause the mess in the ME. It played a part in it, but you can hardly lay the blame on a single country. The region has gone through all kinds of turmoil for over a millennium.
