Funny how the Brits on here are so butthurt when somebody criticizes their cuisine. Honestly, why do you guys even care? If you enjoy whatever food you have available in the UK good for you. Why does it matter so much to you what others think? It doesn't make your personal food experience any worse. Really you should relax, being angry and feeling insulted all the time must be bad for your blood pressure.
Not butthurt, just exposing liars, myths and god awful stereotypes for what they really are..........bloody awful, besides the more frustrated people like Irene get the more outrageous their claims and the more obvious it is that they are lying about things, its quite entertaining really.
Per capita, 38.1 kg of pork, 11.6 kg of poultry meat, 8.9 kg of beef, 0.6 kg of sheep and goatmeat and 1 kg of other meats were consumed in Germany in 2013

Americans never get butthurt when somebody critizes their country.

TBH - I really don't care os someone likes British food or not. What's important is I do, and I also like the choice of food on offer in the UK.
I have merely pointed out the reality which is there is a very good culinary scene in the UK.
If people want to believe sterotypes then that's up to them.

I always wondered if this was directed at Americans.
