Irish Travellers can fit that description too and they certainly live a hillybilly existence and tend to be very traditional and not accepting of homosexuality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pH-uZeSdbY

Strongly disagree with you. In my opinion, these are completely different things.
All of Europe has extensive rural areas, farmers, and hunters. Of course there is country life everywhere. People go hunting and fishing, work on farms, etc.

The men tend to the horses and livestock, women to home and family. Girls marry young and only with the blessing of their parents. Men don’t typically speak to women in public.
In the bygone era of Europe people generally married the same age as the Irish Travelers and only with the blessing of parents and people generally were unable to read or write.

And what's wrong with that? Thank God, that still modicum someone cares about traditional family values.
Are you saying that there are no rednecks in other parts of Europe?
"Being redneck transcends nationalities. Rednecks are common from Alaska to Kamchatka and from Norilsk to Land of Fire."
Here is my first post in this thread. Altough in most of the western countries there is much less of a problem with football hooligans than in most of countries in central-eastern europe.
I not sure if that happens in Europe but what is common among Irish Travelor marriages it is arranged.
Arranged marriages are still part of Irish Traveler community. How would you feel if your parents did a arranged marriage to you?
They are hillbilly group for sure, as shown below: (Even though it is a movie, in real life they can dress like hillbillies)
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with these Irish travelers, but if what you write is true, then I did not quite mean it. I wanted to say about your first post with the video that intolerance towards sexual minorities in my opinion does not fit into the concept of redneck. It is rather just or national characteristics or some attributes of the sect. It's kind of like the Mormons, I understand, who practiced polygamy and sometime grown men marrying very young girls.

That's not a hillbilly that's what white trash looks like there's no shortage of trash in the USA either. Hillybilly, Rednecks and Hicks doesn't equal white trash.
