One of the reasons cited is their one-bedroomed apartment that accommodates the husband wife kid, plus the wife's Ukrainian mother. Interesting. I don't really think of Shanxi as NE China. More like: north-ish, central-ish. Manchuria is NE China. Maybe that's nitpicking, but it's a huge territory.

That's pretty bad, though; a family of 4 with only one income. What kind of work is she qualified to do?

Don't know. But that kind of immigration policy could lead to abuses of foreign spouses.

Looks like per these articles that happened after EU migration restrictions were lifted for Romania and Bulgaria 2014, allowing Romanians and Bulgarians to work in any EU country.

The Russians Are Wrapping Their Old T-62 Tanks In Drone Armor.
Not content to weld ridiculously tall cage-style anti-drone armor on the tops of their old T-62 tanks, Russian forces in Ukraine now completely are surrounding some of the aged tanks in the bird-cage-style armor.

The T-90s have had tower protection from the factory for several months. This is a necessity in the war of the 21st century.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Look at the anti-tank mines. They're not buried, not even camouflaged. They're right out in the open! Their placement in the pic is obviously to deter an advance, but the T-62 just rolled right over them... and was destroyed.

The incompetence is staggering.

Do you think a tank can drive freely and carefully in a combat zone? When there are 2-3 enemy drones hanging over it and artillery will be aimed in a few minutes? Your competence is good only in theory, the reality is different.

Supposedly a lot of experienced, professional soldiers within the Russian forces were thrown as cannon fodder fairly early in the war and even officers that were in charge of training were thrown into strikes where they were mowed down. It would make sense then that these earlier losses and poor higher level management would mean the quality of frontline troops would diminish quite a bit.

Borshchevik Sosnovskogo, you seem to have a better head on you than those people. Why are you not among the frontline troops? Why do you allow your competence to only be good in theory rather than actually having it out in reality? Why do you not believe in Russia's ability to lead its troops since you will not join their ranks?

The political cycle in the United States just hit a decision point and local to the US the legislative branch is having its own failure to build a coalition. Meanwhile the warring factions remain locked in combat with attacks and counters before Mother Nature makes that more difficult for a few months
