Men I don't know who to blame the war and Russia or Ukraine, for years where I live the only citizens in November were seagulls and cats but right now a mobile kndergarten of Ukrainians is storming the streets and 5 meters with the car you'd see 10 UA cars and this seeing how my country isn't even in top 10 of hosting refugees I can't comprehend what will be like in Romania, Poland or else close to the Ukrainian border.

I'm starting to like Mexico now, because it's the country where I've heard they shoot at people for "casual" things, doesn't happen in eastern europe everyone is so stoic and polite here. Today a junkie looking guy with a doberman came to me and i was in a car with fully auto gun + it's a black porsche car...the reason was that the doberman noticed my cat (in a cage), after 1-2 minutes the guy finally decided it's time to go and pull his dog away fortunately I like dogs and the cat was protected. Eastern europe sucks.
For those of you who are looking to move to the Nordic countries with kids and everything in tow for example from sunny southern Cali, I would like to warn you about the weather: It gets pitch dark now at 5 PM and although last Sunday was sunny it's been foggy, rainy and humid for 3 weeks in a row now. Are you prepared for that?
Sunny Southern California native here - thanks for the info! Not at all prepared for that, but I've no intention of moving back to anywhere in Europe for a long while. Lived there for eight years after graduating from high school, had enough of the four seasons. When it dips below 70 here, I put on a sweater and feel nice and cozy.
Don't know how you all do it. Are the booze cruises to Sweden still operating?
