7. The Tapeworm Diet.Even though the tapeworm diet is so outrageous you’d think it were an urban legend, apparently it’s real. This old one came back to public attention again because the Tyra Banks show did a “gross-out” spot on the tapeworm diet in November of 2009. Audience members squirmed as the doctor pulled a 15 foot worm out of a jar live on camera. By December 2009 after the show re-aired for an encore, “tapeworm diet was #1 on google trends.
No one is that stupid to try this diet...are they?

Jeez!!! That's just worthy of a straight jacket!!
My pop always said I ate like a person who had a tapeworm. LOL!
Eww, I can't believe people are so desperate to lose weight that they would eat a tapeworm just to accomplish that. Ugh I don't even think a straight jacket would be enough to justify that.
I'm just astounded at how drastic people would go to lose weight. The tapeworm thing got it for me. Though I did get a good laugh with the shake weight.
These ridiculous diets are brought up, because people simply do not want to do a Lifestyle Change. They want to stick with the Burger King way of doing things... Their Way, Right Away... especially when it comes to fast food and no exercise.
All people need to understand, is that humans were meant to move, and eat with some degree of nutrional sense. For whatever reason, people battle it to death, that is why the diet pill/crazy diet/silly exercise equipment schemes are multi-billion dollar businesses. Who knows, maybe one day the crazy, logical way of doing things will catch on!

The South Park about the shake weight was soooo funny!
