Every 3 days I will do a little cardio for 30 minutes or so just to keep my health and energy levels up. I do a lot of walking throughout the day at work and at home. That's all I do!

I'm healthy. It works for me. I do not plan on making any changes to my exercise routine.

I workout 6 days a week so once a week I get a rest day.

Otherwise, occasionally on vacations I go somewhere remote without a gym (think remote areas of Costa Rica, Jamaica, Turkey, etc), but generally I go for runs when this happens, which is a fun way to see the area. But I look forward to hitting the weights when I return!

Also, your attitude is horrible Ohiogirl was trying to help.
you should really try taking a week off after a few months. you would be surprised how good you feel when you start back again.

Default Feedback

How often do you give your body a complete rest from exercise? Only one day a week. The addendum to this is for unforeseen changes; lengthy travel or getting sick. I was sick with something bad this winter and lost 3 days from the gym. That's been the longest I've missed in years.

Particularly interested in your answer if you meet the following criteria :

*workout 4 or more days a week-- Yes
*Have low/lowish body fat ---Last check a few years back it was 8 or 9 percent.
*have a decent amount of muscle mass---very toned; killer arms

if you count cardio and outdoor activities as exercise, almost never. Only when I'm sick or have a long travel day on an airplane or something.

I've gave my body about a year and a half of rest, so I should be good to go anytime now.
