Crossfit 'wods' are meant for those that do crossfit. crossfit games are meant for people that do crossfit. olympic lifters doing wods and still having good times shows off their athletic ability..

Exactly, spacelord. I would think Tom should know that by now. I'm not a CrossFit kool-aid drinker. I like it - that's why I do it, but it definitely isn't for everyone.
Like Glenn Pendlay says in the comments of that video, workouts like doing as many reps as possible in 10 mins at 80% of your 1RM aren't new and aren't exclusive to CrossFit.
I just thought to post this because:
A) That's a pretty fricking crazy time at 300+lbs.
B) I remember lots of discussion about "real" athletes not doing CrossFit-type workouts.
Obviously Spencer doesn't do workouts like this as a regular part of his training schedule, nor should he. I just thought it was a cool video.
