My wife really wants me to workout with her. If she does a walking dvd, its pretty wimpy. If she does the tae bo, it's just silly to me, having a MA backround. If she does a dance one.... well, just NO.
I do wanna workout with her; and we both need to get back into it. Any ideas????
Thanks.
Weights? Cardio? I find collagevideo.com and totalfitnessdvds.com to be very useful, mainly because of the clips. I like Kelly Coffey Meyers and Cathe Friedrich. They're good female instructors who aren't too girly or goofy. Cuing is almost always spot on. KCM is more for the intermediate exerciser, Cathe is advanced.
How about Weider XFactor ST? The set is $12 at Target on clearance, no equipment required since they're body weight workouts, and you get 12 dvds (for an 8 week rotation, plus 4 shorter add-ons)
Or for another cheap but good set, try Supreme 90 which can be found at Ross for $4.99. They use a stability ball, dumbbells, and a mat.
My wife and I did P90X together for almost two years. Tony has men and women on the set. Both of you will find it challenging, as Tony encourages you to push your limits, But acknowledging that your best (whatever that may be) is good enough. Insanity, with Shawn T was similar (and harder).
Yep I'd say Tony Horton or Jilillan Michaels - done both with my wife and liked them. I've tried a bit of the Insanity Cardio video and hated it. I like some cardio but that is too much. Tony and Jillian mix it up with weights for a nice balance.

Try Wii Boxing. I'm serious too. It's a good workout, it's boxing so it's fun, and you can fight each other and have a blast. Most workout videos are meant for women or guys who never really worked out before, not for guys who have MA experience.
Wow, lotsa great ideas, thanks very much. I've actually been under the weather since then, but will look into these soon as I can and let ya know how it works out...... pun intended ;-)
