I'm kind of particular about socks and these are two brands that have worked well for me. They are both low-cut, the no shows don't work for me.

I'm kind of a sock junkie, always looking for the best brand for trail running and hiking. So far I've narrowed it down to REI's house brand and SmartWool. Yes, they may run $10-$15 a pair but it's worth it to avoid blisters & hot spots.

You might check out balega socks, made in south Africa. I wanted a super light sock that would not put extra weight on my feet, and these fit the bill for me.
