Guys,

I used to have pretty good legs, but since I picked up running for about a year now, I noticed my thighs are getting huge and no longer look attractive anymore. Does running make thighs big and is there anyway I can make them thinner?

Thanks,

what kind of running? Sprints, I could see. But distance running? No. Ever see a marathon runner with big thighs or big legs in general? Probably not. Not saying they arent out there but they would be the exception, not the rule.

When your thighs reach 26+ inches around, then come back with this complaint.

I don't think running causes that, it's because the thigh is the most difficult part to shrink for women where as the abdomen is for men. When you lose weight due to exercise most women drop the fattiest areas from the neck down to the stomachs then butt areas. Your thighs will stick out because the top part of your body shrinks.

I believe cardio reduces the size of your legs, not increases. its probably the cronuts.

If all that new size is lean mass then I don't see how they can be unattractive

Perhaps by running less?

Anyway, I've got a question--Did someone else actually (directly) tell you that your thighs don't look attractive anymore, or do you yourself simply think that other people will not consider your thighs to be attractive anymore?
