For whatever reason I noticed that a lot of male posters on these boards have some weird fetish for huge things and butts on women; never saw that in any men I know. The women around me that are typically deemed sexy and attractive and spin guys' heads are the standard slim or curvy yet small, no one looks like that.
I don't know about other biological males here, but I myself am simply more flexible when it comes to this.
For the record, I genuinely did not really think about whether or not huge thighs are attractive before I saw this thread.
"Standard slim or curvy yet small." Some men's tastes are heavily influenced by TV and mass media. Other men, just like what they like. Slim and fit is nice, but so is jiggly. Preferring only skinny women is just as much a fetish as the guy that likes them big.
I used to have pretty good legs, but since I picked up running for about a year now, I noticed my thighs are getting huge and no longer look attractive anymore. Does running make thighs big and is there anyway I can make them thinner?
Thanks,
Unless you are a man, women don't have enough testosterone to get huge thighs from running.
So no, your thighs aren't big from running. Even weights will not build your thighs up without steroids and testosterone.
I have no problem with a woman with bigh thighs as long as they are lean. Serena Williams has big thighs and she looks good in my opinion. She is a tremendous athlete.
Honestly, this is one of those pet peeves of mine. I really like the look of women with thick, strong thighs. Big, muscular calves aren't bad either. But practically every woman I encounter with nice looking, bigger diameter legs is complaining about how bad it looks. Or at the very least, bemoaning the fact she has to "settle" for them due to her interest in <insert sport or favorite fitness routine here>.
Honestly, thin "stick" legs do nothing for me whatsoever, even if that is the "sexy" thing according to the advertising/marketing types. (And people, don't forget that almost all of these fashion designers selecting their super-skinny models are GAY men. Don't you think they may have a bit of a different take on what's sexy than you do as a straight guy?)

Yeah, I don't like legs and/or other body parts which are too skinny. I enjoy seeing body parts which have a little "meat" on them.
My wife started working out, and she was concerned because her thighs were getting larger and jeans were tighter. She was packing on muscle mass, which some women aren't used to. Her legs are thicker, and I think it's very sexy that she has some muscle. A lot of guys like thick legs on women as long as it's muscle and not fat.

True.
