Just finished relocating to Houston and want to begin to climb indoors in Houston and outdoors in Texas. Just need to find some like minded climbing partners. Prior to my injury I was climbing at a 6a/6b level now I am starting more in the 5's.

Try Texas Rok Gym - perhaps a way to meet like minded/skilled climbers

Also try the Houston forum. -- never mind, it looks lie this got moved here FROM the Houston forum. Sorry, I'm 1000 miles away from you, can't make it. There's probably a climbing-specific forum for your area... try that. Or maybe go to the nearest gym and post something on the bulletin board there.

Injurys suck. :-( I m starting to climb again after a pause, got kind of bummed on climbing when my last partner died in an accident in Joshua Tree (not climbing with me, I was here home in Germany). Then I re injured my ankle running and gained a bunch of weight. :-( I fight with tendonitis sometimes as well :-(

Got out on for some solo toproping last weekend and it did feel good to just move on some easy rock routes.
Don,t worry about the grade just get on the real rock and climb what you can and have fun. Don´t take gym ratings seriously.
