Hahaha, sure dude, you're the real men here, because I like normal and slim girls I'm not a real men, I'm an immature, small penis, basement living, parent leaching weirdo who couldn't handle a real woman and a real relationship. Did I forget anything?
A normal 5'4" woman should be around 119, 120 pounds, not 140.

In the body galleries there are women that are 5'4" and 140 with muscle. They don't look fat to me.
Is "normal" referencing a woman that doesn't work out/lift weights?
Exactly. I've only been that weight (116) one time in my life. The rest of the time I'm right at 140. When I was 116 lbs, my sister looked at me and said, "Sister, you look really sick. You need to gain your weight back." And I was sick. When I got better, I went back up to 140 and working out as I did before. All my family and friends agree I look healthy and strong again. I'm built like a gymnast, not a ballerina: visible boobs, butt, thighs, and a considerable amount of muscle. Not all women are designed to look like little stick figures, and I don't want to look that way either.
5 ft 4Well, once again, I would guess that the Marine Corps might know a bit about fitness and they have the tightest weight requirements in the military. Here is what they say for max weights
women
We would also need standardized clothing sizes. They do not exist.
Exactly. Manufacturers are all over the place with sizing. There's never been a standardized clothing size in the US. I sell some vintage clothing, a size 12-14 in the 60s is a size 8 today.
Height and weight don't mean a lot either, we're all proportioned differently. 140lbs can look great on one women, another heavy. Euros sizing is simplified and much better, by inches or centimeters.
Ive read the ideal/crude measurement for females is 100 lbs-starting at 5', add 4-6lbs per inch. So, if you're 5' 4" you should be around 120-125 (ideally) I think here in America we have bumped that 1" weight to 20lbs
Why do idiotic comments like this even exist? You're not even someone who is knowledgeable in this subject, are you?
People read this on the net and regurgitate this trash on other websites AND on real life.
Fitting general standards to the vast population of females with highly different genetic inclinations and conditions doesn't make any sense. How can any adult confidently say this without even questioning that?
It depends on the race, BMI, muscle mass, and genes.
Another example of a man with degenerated intelligence

Lol @ the use of normal. Pretend your preference is the default and the prototype for every man's desires and the diverse population of women, because that will always fit the standard rules of life you made up in your mind friends.
What bothers me about this thread is a couple of things. 1) the title, as shown time and time again by citing medical professionals, BMI charts, and now the Marines, 5'4" 140 pounds is within the normal range for a woman.
And 2) Why all this focus on women when so many more men than women are overweight in the US? According to NHANES, 74% of men in the US are overweight and 64% of women? Why do non-overweight women need a thread asking if there is a problem with it when the truth is, it's a lot of really overweight people (men included) in the US?

This is what I've always wondered, with the obsession on women and "obesity" all over this forum. It makes no sense. I'm glad you posted this.

The majority of posts I see here are women. Theres no bashing
Yep, we're an overweight country. In truth there is a problem when statistically 50% of women wear a size 12 -14.
