She did a great job. I'm an early morning work-outer myself and so worried that my office is moving downtown ~ I will have a huge commute and have to give up my morning workouts. My favorite trainer and friends are all there.

Maybe I'll have to find something else to inspire me as this lady did.

She was determined.

Good for her!

My highest weight was 257 lbs on 7/4/2008. By May of 2009 I weighed 140 lbs (my goal weight) and am now 120 lbs.

No surgery. Diet and exercise.

Nobody ever put me in the paper.

Her skin looks quite tight as well. I thought she would have folds of loose skin.

This is a side question but why do some people end up with excess skin when they lose weight like this? I have a friend who lost over 100 pounds and had to have surgery on her arms and tummy to get rid of excess skin.

because people are losing the weight and not building muscle to replace the fat. its better to lose weight by building muscle.
