That isn't my only workout. I use squats/lunges to tone my legs as I lose weight, chest fly, bicep curls and tricep extensions for the upper body. I am aware I'll have to do them for about one to two months before I see any type of changes. I appreciate the advice.
Would you know anything about target heart rate? I bough a stationary bike today and immediately spent 40 minutes on it alternating from quick bursts for a minute or two to slowly pedaling for recovery and a pace I could maintin for a few minutes between the two.
10 minutes after finishing my blood pressure was 120 over 80 but my heart rate was still 112. Not sure if that's too much or not. I feel a little tired but other than that I'm fine.
I don't measure my heart rate or blood pressure after working out. I simply try to work out as hard as I can without injuring myself.
Ok I'm a little worried. My muscles aren't sore however my heart is sore. It's the same sensation as a pulled muscle.
Blood pressure is normal but heart rate is high and I'm wondering if my heart is in worse shape than I originally thought. I was in denial about how out of shape I was for a while.

Called my doc and he said it's fine. I think I pulled my chest muscle doing the chest fly. I was also extremely anxious because my GF just broke up with me. I took a break from everything but my weights today. I'll hop back on the bike tomorrow.
Things are going great! I got bored with the stationary bike so I sold it for Rush tickets and started walking.
I'm capable of knocking out 4.5 miles in 50 minutes speed walking despite being 250lbs. Still 70lbs over my target weight.
And to be honest I'm not too motivated to hit my target weight anymore. I can get around fine now, I'm liking the way I look and my blood pressure is back to normal.
