What is your favorite muscle building food. For me it is Steak. Other favorites of mine are pork chops (I try to choose leaner cuts but sometimes I cheat too) chicken and turkey breast, eggs and fish like salmon would be my last choice as far as animal sources Lately to my own surprise I have added peanut butter and Tofu but my culinary skills for tofu must improve some. Also I take protein shakes. Here is an example of my dream protein I cut these today and vacumm sealed them.
It is not the leanest cut but it gets the job done and once I can afford better cuts I will get them. Tell me your version.

Steak, ham, fish, turkey, chicken...in that order.

Mostly though, I use casein and whey protein shakes. When you're taking in >200 grams of protein per day, you can't beat the ease and simplicity of throwing some powder in a blender and being ready to go.

Chicken breast, fish, eggs, broccoli, spinach, oatmeal and nuts. I don't eat any dairy products nor meat off any four legged animal.

Been trying to eat a little healthier the last year or so. Fixing most of my own meals. Ground meat, Chops (pork or lamb), Chicken, Tuna, Milk, Cottage Cheese, Rice, Lentils, Fresh Veggies on the side, baked red potato a couple of times a week.

Grass-fed ground beef, organic chicken, sardines (these are superb protein) and tuna are my staple protein foods. Used to eat eggs, but they don't agree with me. I also eat a lot of nuts.

Very interesting answers, thanks a lot ladies and gentlemen. I must let you in a little secret. Up until about a month ago I refused to eat peanut butter because I never cared for it but recently I have developed an affinity for it that I can't explain. Also I fried tofu last night for the first time and I kind of liked it but I do not want to use canola oil anymore because Inwant to keep it healthy so maybe non stick spray next time. I am no expert in tofu but I know it is high in protein

I have started working out and have also modified my diet to more closely fit my lifestyle, as I know that my diet will play a huge role in seeing changes in my body.

What I find difficult is the lack of variety and options with regard to food choices. It feels like it is baked chicken and steam broccoli or baked fish and rice almost every night, though it isn't truly always that. I've watched some YouTube videos of bodybuilders preparing their meals (as a lot of them prepare a week's worth of meals in advance). I just couldn't eat the same things every single day like they do, as I like to get enjoy my meals. Eating healthier seems to have dampened my enjoyment, though I know that I need to stick with it and try to learn some new recipes.
