I usually add creatine to my protein powder. So when I finished my workout I just added water to my shaker bottle. 2 hours later I drink the mix but it went down smooth. Usually I can feel the undissolved creatine moving in my mouth like sand. Plus the mix wasn't bitter. So either I forgot to add the creatine or it dissolved because I waited 2 hrs to drink the mix. I don't want to skip a day but I dont want to overdose either. Is it better to just skip a day? I've been using creatine now for about 1.5 months.

You can't overdose on creatine and it doesn't hurt to miss a day.
Presumably you've spent most of your life NOT using creatine...now you're so concerned that you're wanting to double up a dose to make up for forgetting a day?
Get a grip! Is putting on another 1/10th of an oz of muscle THAT important that you'd take even a small risk by doubling up on creatine?

There is no risk. When creatine first came out in the 1990s, they recommended starting with a loading phase. Some people still recommend doing that.
One common approach is to take 20–25 g of creatine daily for 5–7 days. This dose is typically divided into four or five 5-g servings throughout the day
That is likely two, or two and a half times what the OP is probably considering taking.
Be careful if you have any type of kidney issues. While taking creatine supplements, I had routine bloodwork done and results showed impaired kidney function. I stopped taking creatine and then retested a month later and my results were back in the norm.
The results may have been false positive, but my doc said it showed that my kidneys were unable to excrete enough creatine to keep my blood levels within norm. I'm no Doc and haven't slept at a Holiday Inn Express recently, but me thinks driving the kidneys that hard can't be a good thing long term.

The fact that creatine raises creatinine levels does not mean that it is harming your liver or kidneys. I had the same experience. My creatinine was 1.6 mg/dL. My urea nitrogen was 27 mg/dL. The levels were above the reference range and my PCP wanted me to see a nephrologist. I knew it due to taking 4.8 grams of creatine most days and a high protein diet. I told my PCP I would stop taking creatine for a month and get new bloodwork. Six weeks later my creatinine was 1.27 mg/dL and my urea nitrogen was 21 mg/dL.
Either skipping a scoop or doubling it will not have any significant effect. Just do your thing as if nothing happened and make sure you are as fussy about your real food as you are about this.
Best of luck.
