^Also very true. The biggest complaint I hear about C25k et al is that they progress too quickly for some people. Repeat a week, or a session, as often as you need to. Then move on when you're ready. (At the same time, don't let it scare you into stagnation. For example, week 5 of C25k seems to have a huge jump-- suddenly you're running 20 minutes or 2 miles straight-- and it terrifies pretty much everyone... but a lot of people try it and find they can get it!)

I hated couch to 5k for that reason. I found the runners world training program that i posted earlier much more doable for me (skipping over the first walking weeks because I already walked for exercise).
