Whoa...The teddy bear type has tremendous amount of votes.
Are these some kind of sympathy votes or what? So fatness in men is attractive? Who knew...
I think this shows that women want their men big and meaty, so they can look 'smaller' and more petite (insecure? I don't know). This is no different to a man wanting his women to be a stick figure, really. A thin person (or a stick figure if you want) is still less likely to get diabetes and heart disease than an overweight person (bears are mostly overweight, many are obese if they're short).
And the minuscule votes for thin men? Looks like skinny guys have it as bad as fat women. I'd take a healthy 'string bean' over a husky man any day, btw (as gays, we are, after all, stereotyped to be into muscles & bears). I don't find fatter men attractive because their fat arms/legs resemble a woman's in her 50s (sorry, that's what comes in my mind straight away).
Oh...the vote descriptions aren't a fair display btw. With terms like 'husky guy' and 'bear' (bears even have their own porn), of course people would choose them over 'string bean' (which sound like an immediate turn off). Try the terms like 'male microwave' (the bear) and 'lean athlete body' (thin runner or soccerplayer) - you'd obviously get more votes on the latter.
And to that poster who said skinny men lose their 'maleness'? Lmao, quite the opposite. Fat is a very female thing - that's why women gain it easily, unlike men. Women need fat to carry babies. This is biology for you.
Btw, for me personally, a very thin woman (Sarah Jessica Parker) looks rather masculine, or boyish (if you will). And fat men (Perez Hilton, Seth Rogen) look like they have a feminine frame (bigger tummy/waist, narrow shoulders and flabby arms - just no). A thin guy at least has shoulders wider than his waist.
