This question has made me wonder for a bit. Who would be able to lift more weight, theoretically. somebody who is 6'6 and 230, or somebody who is 5'10 and 230? I was thinking, on one hand, the 5'10 person's muscle would be more densely packed, more muscle into a smaller package. The 6'6 person would have less muscle per unit of area, but the longer bones might give him/her more leverage. This is all assuming they had the same muscle type, same body proportions, same body fat %, etc. What do you guys think?
Their hight and weight will not matter at all. It depends on their fitness level. For example, Terrel Owens is 6' 3" 218lbs and Jason Witten is 6' 5" and 262lbs but T.O. can out bench press him and can leg press more than him. So it isnt only about size or muscle density that determines who is stronger. Its about that persons fitness level.
Heck, Rosie O'Donnell is probably around 5' 10" and 230lbs, do you think she can be "outlifted" by your average female CD poster who is probably around 5' 4" and 230? (just joking). Again, fitness level makes all the difference in the world.
