Skyline has not had a big promotional blitz. I've seen a few commercials and a link or two on various sites but that's about it. I hope it's a sleeper hit like District 9.

I really liked District 9, it managed to be a social commentary, a comedy and a cool sci fi flick at the same time.

District 9 is one of the best movies I've seen in a long, long time. They had the really great FX but didn't scrimp on story or character. Sharlto Copley really carried that film which is amazing since it was his first real role.

Unfortunately, Skyline fell very flat, IMO. Just went slow and, really, think it had to do more with the level of actors. Looked good in the previews, but needed more work!

Yea Skyline fell flat with me too. Took the kids to see it.

But Wynternight and I had a nice lunch at Silver Gulch. Pictures will come tomorrow.

Had a great time in Fairbanks, fell in love with the city, had a great time with 1stimestar. It was a really good weekend.

And I got my shakes and fountain drinks!!!
