Lol Heathen! Love those photos and the album that they are from. Is that your gallery?
Keeping up routines is a challenge when it's minus 50! I managed to convince myself to workout at the Alaska Club when it hit minus 40 yesterday and I'm glad that I went. Stay warm!

guess that's how the earth got populated..someone got tired of the weather and the whole tribe moved on south or north, depending...

Great picture Heathen! - but I have to ask - WHY did you leave your whiskey outside? That is *not* exercising winter common sense.

It looks like it's been below zero in Fairbanks since Thanksgiving. That makes Minnesota look tropical by comparison!

I saw that the midwest had record highs in the last week. If next year is like this year, it's going to be only 2 months before the midwest hits 60's and 70's again. That's scary. I grew up in Wisconsin and remember having real winters.

Just kinda wanted to see if it would freeze... I was actually really surprised how fast it thawed out.

Well, folks: Saturday and Sunday will be a good time to get on the roof and maybe brush the wood stove stack, or at least to clear some of the ice blocking the septic sewage gas vent lines (pipes). Sounds like fun, eh?
