From a male perspective, it doesn't matter how much facial hair a man has. The key is that it's well-groomed and clean. I don't get the look some guys are trying to achieve with long, untrimmed moustaches or wild, bushy unabomber beards. That scruffy unshaven look works if you're homeless, but otherwise, you look like an uneducated hick with poor taste. Also, if a beard is in fashion, then so is a moustache. Frankly I don't think either is ever out of fashion as long as it's neat and well-groomed.

Above all, any level of well-groomed facial hair looks nice on a man who is physically in shape, within his ideal weight, and lives a clean life.

A month off with no beard and winter comin' on, that beard is comin' back. That just means less shaving since i don't like it under my jaw much and or down on my throat. I shaved it to do a paleo persona for hire.

I think you should transplant the hair from your legs to the top of your head.

I wear a well trimmed moustache. My GF didn't have a probelm with it when we first met, but now wants me to shave it off! I've had my moustache since I was in high school. Hate the thought of parting with it. But between it and my GF. . .the stache will definitely have to go.

Would appreciate female input on this one. Thanks!

I personally LOVE a man with scruff! Not fond of a clean shave. (too boyish looking on some) Some look good that way, but I really prefer scruff. Not too short and not a beard. Love go-t's(sp) too.

I think it's a mistake to shave it. To me it sounds like she has some idea of making you over, and I think that's a bad sign, relationship-wise.

If she and/or you are falling for the "what's in vogue" idea......well don't you realize that isn't a good thing? What do you care about what most women think, anyway? It's your face and your hair!

But to answer your first question, my opinion is that facial hair on men is very attractive.
