Who told large women that stretch pants look good on them? (color, girl)

Look, I am a fatso, but I don't go out wearing bicycle shorts or speedo's to the pool, nor do I wear jeans that are skin tight. I see more and more women of large size wearing black stretch pants. WTF is going on? Is that "in style" or something? I'm not sure that it even looks good on fit women. What is happening?
Despite intense media attention to the self indulgent women of the world, many women, some of them large, do not give a big rat's tail what you, or anyone else, think they look like.

Leggings are indeed in fashion again, and bigger women are wearing them too. True, most of them don't care what you think! I think many bigger women are dressing for comfort over style and leggings are very comfy.
I used to be obese myself so I've already walked many miles in their shoes. They know they're fat and they know they don't look as good in leggings as thin women do. Or maybe they think they DO look good. Either way it makes no difference to me. As long as people cover up what shouldn't be shown in public (this goes for everyone), I don't really care what they wear.
Darn straight it is! And while we are on the subject, fat women shouldn't wear Capri pants either. They just make you look even fatter, and we don't want to see those cankles you've got going. Yuck!
One should always care to some degree how they appear to others. That includes insuring any outfit is age appropriate and that it is right for your body type.
There is a fashion deficit in this country and there is not any one body type or age bracket that is guilty of it.
Overweight women look terrible in leggings to my eyes.... but SO WHAT. If they want to wear leggings, they should go right ahead. I'm sure plenty of them would have a quibble or two about my wardrobe as well; perhaps some of my color choices look terrible in their eyes.
When I see people put down the way others dress, I think it is usually done by a person who wants to artificially pump up their own self esteem in a cheap and easy way.
