I disagree 100%. Betsey has a very particular funky style and it's all about how you wear it. I love her floral prints, her dresses, skirts and even some sweaters. They are all heavily embellished. It's just a particular style and quite honestly, most teenagers cannot afford her.
Her daughter Lulu's line is a little more sophisticated.

Just as a little FYI: I freelanced and interned for her at some point in my life. The quality of clothing is poor.

To be honest, haven't shopped in TJ Maxx in ages. I wouldn't know if they sell Betsey's leftover inventory.

I think Betsey Johnson is my age..60 something. She looks a bit far out in her own designs, but I think any age can take a bit of Betsey.
