Someone on the city vs city thread claims that the ugg boot for men with the fur on it looks very homosexual and ladylike.

so what do you guys think? do they look homosexual or do they look ok?

I think the Ugg boots are aptly named. They look crappy on everyone.

It was bad enough when every one was wearing them here in the 70's and 80's. Gladly they died out, but I got a shock when they caught on in California in the 90's. I thought you guys had better fashion sense. Oh well maybe like in OZ they will soon die out. There o.k wearing them around the house on a cold day, but please don't wear them outside

They were standard surfer gear when I was in high school and college (yes, H&S, California in the late 80s and 90s

). My boyfriend and all his friends wore them. Now they're back in fashion but apparently only for girls. I've looked around for furry boots for my son ... no go.

I think they look fantastic on some of the girls that wear them especially with those tight pants, combined with a north face denali jacket.

True.

I am also reserving my vote until I see them in action but JustJulia makes me consider that they would be quite fashionable.

The only criticism I can offer is if one chooses to wear them outside of a winter setting.

They make me think of Jim Carey's ski outfit in Dumb and Dumber. Wish I could find an online picture of it to demonstrate.

In my opinion, not very attractive.

I agree, that's a good look on some girls.

I don't think Ugg's are a good look for men at all, regardless of whether they are gay or straight.
