I was also talking about physical beauty. Youth is probably not "sold" to us by the media AS the reference for beauty, that may be the difference. Being in shape and taking care of one's skin, yes. But, for example, we have very few if not none at all, young teen or 20-something year old stars. And when we do, they only are famous to kids.
I'm probably in a minority here, but I totally disagree. At least Stevie Nicks looks natural. Somers looks like an overprocessed, botoxed Barbie. Ugh. To each his own though.

No, you're actually in the majority. Seems so far, only L&L thinks Suzanne Somers is positive representative and role model for "beauty in Hollywood." Most of the rest of us think she is somewhere on the atrocious scale.
Wow! I knew that Susan Sarandon looked great but I did not know she was older than Suzanne Somers. I personally think Suzanne Somers looks MUCH MUCH older. In fact Suzanne has crossed the threshold into trying so hard she looks sadly desperate IMO.
Does anyone else notice that while you may have a face that "looks younger" (artificially so )...the hands, neck and arms still look...older...The whole package then looks odd.

I dont think anyone can name any woman who looks better at 35 than she did at 25. Unless she was a fat 25 and lost all the weight by 35 maybe. For the most part, we ALL lose our looks as we get older.
Actually, I think many many women look better now than when they were in their 20s. I am tons better looking now than I was when I was 18. Just saying.
