So, I wonder is it really unnatural for men (in the human world) to put some extra effort to be stylish, trendy, in shape, etc.
I mean sure, Jersey Shore etc. may take it too far, to the point where it may look rediculous, but it seems like so many women claim to be turned off by men, who have bold fashion statements they are called douchebag, etc.
Do you think that deep down, they just don't like men like that, because secretly they really think those men are hot?
Its more of a sign of confidence for men to put themselves together like that, and that with that confidence the man can have the upper hand in terms of dating.
i assure you, i dont think ANYONE (male or female) on JS is... hot.
i think that putting too much concern in how you look (anyone) is a sign of shallowness and ultimately, insecurity. Its one thing to make sure you are clean and well groomed and wearing decent clothes - a whole other thing if it takes you longer than 45 minutes (max) to get ready to go out anywhere. and im being generous with 45 minutes, assuming someone has to blow dry their hair....
I love men who dress well. Great suits. Polished shoes. A little bit fashion-forward. Takes time to pick out a casual wardrobe that is something more than jeans and a t-shirt that tells me what band he likes. Good watch. Great haircut.
Not all men need some very expensive, flashy, trendy clothes to look good. If you are ugly... you are still UGLY. Don't you wonder why they still look right after work in work clothes? Mr. GQ with a big beer-belly gets nothing! How about those choppers? How straight and white are they? Beauty is skin deep. Ugly goes to the BONE!
I'll take a flashy bird over a flashy man ANY DAY!!!!!!!!
That's WHY we go to the gym!
