A quick question about size conversions.

I usually wear a size 13 pants, maybe an 11 here or there depending on the brand. (Most of my pants are from Kohl's). My shirt size is usually large or extra large b/c of my bust size (36 DD). I around am 4'11"-5'0" and 145 lbs.

What size pants and dress size would I be in women's/misses? I tried on a dress in Macy's in the junior's department. I tried a 13, then a 15, but both were too small. I was thinking that I should now try to buy a dress in the adult women's section now, lol.

Thank you.

I am 5'3 125 lbs and in Misses, I wear a 2-6 depending on brand and whether it comes from the Petite section or regular Misses. In Juniors I wear a 9. Since you are short, just an FYI - I have found that in most department stores, the regular Misses clothing runs about a size larger than the Petites. For example, if I find something in Petites that fits me in a size 4, I will wear a size 2 of the same thing in Misses.

Juniors aren't "cut" the same as Misses.....most junior clothes just don't fit me properly, and I'd wear a 4 in Misses and a 7 in Juniors....if they were cut to a woman's body!!! They are made for teens, who haven't "filled out" yet!!!

Don't worry so much about sizes.....it's all about FIT!!! If it fits well and makes you look good, who cares what size the tag says!!!

Juniors aren't cut for big boobs or much in the way of hips. Yep you are going to have to be in the ladies sizes.
