My mom was saying she read some article about California having the worst dressers in the world. You would think that they dressed better because we have Hollywood.

Does anyone agree with that statement or have you seen worse dressers??

What does Hollywood have to do with it? Have you seen some of the outfits the "stars" wear to premiers, red-carpet events, etc.???

I don't believe that's true. I do believe, however, that Wal-Mart is steadily proving to have the worst dressed shoppers though.

Hahahahahahah! I haven't been to walmart in a while, but many people say the walmart shoppers are the worst dressers. I usually go to Target instead so that's why.

Well -- I can attest to "San Francisco Black" -- people dressing in all black, all the time.

I have a good friend that does this -- and it's very aging. Worse than that -- black isn't black. Like anything, black has shades -- espeicially because it absorbs more light, so when you wear say -- a black tee with a black jacket with a black scarf and black pants and black socks and black shoes, most of the time you end up looking horrible because none of the blacks match..... and none of the pieces are off enough to co-ordinate and there's no relief color to move your eye from the glaring wrongness of the outfit.

It's just wretched. And SO many people do it here.

I stopped wearing black near my face several years ago -- just too harsh.

Nothing surprises me about monkey-see-monkey-do Californians. 1 out of 3 that have moved to Las Vegas are trendy Californians. Always so easy to spot.

Pony-tail hanging out of the back of their baseball caps, for one!

Worst dressers? I can tell you most of us don't care enough what people think about our attire to put that much thought into it. I'd wear a T-shirt, shorts, and flip flops to work everyday if they would let me. Why? Because its comfortable. What else really matters? I'd also add that many people in LA are more concerned about the fitness of their bodies than the clothes they wear. People who are fit look good in just about everything they wear. With that said, California is more than just Los Angeles and San Francisco.
