After taking a shower and washing my face, my skin tends to look dry white around the peripheral of my mouth, even if I don't shave for that day. Should I use aftershave with lotion or something else? Vaseline?
I'm assuming this is a man making the statement. Yes, moisturize with a facial lotion without oils (not vaseline) but also hydrate more (a.k.a. drink more water).

Are you using some sort of medication that may be giving you this side effect? Maybe seeing a doctor/dermatologist? or using cetaphil or aquaphor.
Stop washing your face with what you do. It could be drying you out. What do you use?
