Anyone have any idea what line of jeans would look best on a size 38w/32L 65 year old guy?
I finally have convinced my DH to buy something other than khakis for casual nights out ... but haven't a clue whats out there for him. He's 6'1" and 200lbs. Help, please!

I'm 71, 6"1, 195 lbs. My wife bought me a pair of Levi's 559 Relaxed Straight Stretch Jeans in black.
They have just a tiny bit of stretch in the fabric. They are 99% cotton denim and 1% stretch denim. They look good and are comfortable.

Thanks, guys ... he's gonna love the fact that he's heard of the brand. No more "Costco's best"!

My DH wears Ernie Bauer jeans exclusively, and has done so for a number of years. Tgey come in several fits. With older guys, waistline thickens and affects the fit.

You can find Levis and other brands to try on at Kohl’s. You can also try on jeans at any Eddie Bauer retailer. Guys hate trying on clothes. But you have to do it to find the best fit. So, take him in hand and have him try on stuff. If he refuses to do this, then order him some different pairs and have him try on stuff at home. Return what does not work and order the same from now on.

I am a bit shorter than your husband, but about the same diameter and weight. I don't have a great big gut but I do have a fairly generous behind, and thighs like tree trunks from decades of cycling. Levi's don't offer me enough room in the crotch. I don't like being bound up there. I have been recently pleased with Lee's "Relaxed Fit Straight Leg" jeans. I can actually move around and not feel like my boys are being constricted.

My dad is in 70s and we got him some Levis at Macys. He's been buying them ever since and my husband switched to them too.

Before that my dad got Wrangler a few times but now we just don't have them in the nearby stores so I can't say if they're still good.

My husband wears Levis slim straight cut. He has some Wranglers with the same cut, but they're too narrow to fit over cowboy boots so he doesn't wear them. He has a pair of very dark blue jeans from the Gap that he uses when he wants to look a little bit dressy but not wear slacks.

My dad used to wear the jeans with a little bit of stretch. They look good as long as you avoid this shade: https://www.wrangler.com/shop/wrangl...ean-light-blue

I buy my husband jeans at Sam's club. They are reasonably priced and look and wear fine. He is the same size as your hubby.
