I have some pants that have Neosporin stains in them. How do I get the stains out? Can I take them to the cleaners?

try baby powder to absorb the oil. Dish detergent as well. I hope it hasn't been too long. These can set quickly.

I've tried Dawn but it's still there. The stains are like 2 weeks old.

You can put a paste of baking soda on them and scrub then try the dawn or use this one product I get because it is available in my area. Sometimes you can find it at a joanne fabric shop, it is called Carbona and it works wonders on mechanical grease so I imagine it would work well for your issue. A wee bit pricey but you don't use the entire bottle on one stain so it should last a while. There are different types of Carbona products so get the one that is specific to stains and grease.

With the carbona I got all the grease out of my husbands shirt after it had been washed and dried about 6 times since he was gone working and had it with him. The carbona is a great product but it does take a bit of scrubbing which is why they have the attached scrubby thing on the bottle, works out great.

I'm bad with stains.... I drop food on my chest constantly. My trick is to wet the fabric well, give it a nice coat of dishwashing liquid, rub it together really well till it's all lathery and leave it set for an hour. Treating it and putting it directly into the washer never gets rid of the stains, it's the waiting that breaks up the grease.

It works well with the cloths like 1 or 2 days affected with stains and grease.
If there is a cloth about 1 or 2 month old with these stains affected then which method should i use?

Lestoil - Its in the laundry section at most stores.

Its also good for getting out deodorant build up and mechanic type oils as well as food grease.
