This whole "real women have cuves thing is hilarious. Just a way for women to justify their unhealthy lifestyles.

You are not curvy, you are fat, you are UNHEALTHY. We wouldn't say "real women smoke cigarettes" because smoking is unhealthy. Similarly, we should not say "real women are curvy" because 1) that assumes skinny/healthy woman are not "authentic" and 2) encourages unhealthy ways of living

Smoking is no different to obesity. Both are conscious lifestyles that people choose to lead, male or female. My uncle is a physician, and he told me in his years of practice, he has never found an obese/fat person who didn't cause it themselves. Not genetics, not any other lame excuse.

This is a pet peeve of mine. I remember when I first doing online dating I listed myself as curvy. I was always told that actresses like Marilyn Monroe for example were curvy and I have large chest (though not really big hips). A friend of mine compared my figure to Salma Hayek and I heard her called curvy so I went with it. Anyway, when talking to these guys they would tell me I didn't look fat, to which I responded I wasn't. Long story short I heard curvy now means fat.

People tend to do that a lot when they don't have a logical argument.

Wow. You consider Rihanna curvy. This thread has now lost it's credibility.

What does this have to do with relationships?

I think it would fit better in health and wellness, diet and weightloss or even fashion and beauty. Maybe a mod can move it?

Thread moved from Relationships to Fashion and Beauty. Thread closed because this topic has been discussed ad nauseum on previous threads.
