I don't know how many gay folks you've known, but they wear many and varied items, same as straight people. And the man in the picture I posted is straight, so I don't know where you've gotten this idea that the way a person dresses has anything to do with their sexuality.
Yeah...over the years of my life, I've known and I know quite a few gay people, men and women...and I gotta say, I would not be comfortable everyone dresses the same.
I knew ONE guy who dressed...flamboyantly. I knew ONE guy who dressed 'nice' most days. Everyone else, men and women...it'd just be really hard to try and assign one fast fashion sense to any of them. I've known a lot of straight guys who dressed 'nicer' on a regular basis, than a lot of gay guys.
Really?!?! You dont see it?!?!? Are you serious?!?!? Are you for real!?!?!
How about a person's orientation having something to do with their clothes/fashion sense. Does this provide a bit more clarity for you?
How many straight guys do you know who wears boots like that? Take a look at the recently posted pics - the guy helping the bride, the runway dude and the dude standing on the street with the purse. The only one who is probably not gay is the runway dude because he's getting paid to wear those for about 30 seconds only. The other guys are out and about wearing that. There is NOTHING wrong with it, its just that only certain "types" wear high boots like that.
Wow! Are you the fashion police?
If a guy wants to wear tall boots, I don't see why he could not.
For all you know tall boots could be the next big look for men, straight or gay.
I want to find a boot similar to the Sketcher boots I have now. They are not steel toed but have leather and a heel uplift but they are not like my Platforms that are 4 inches of 4 holed lace up boots. Vintage ROCKS! I am also looking for a DOC Martin 8-10 hole steel toe or not in some vintage shops for my job in the Construction Industry.
Hm, in fact I do like to wear my 18" Wesco workboots a lot - does none of you ladies like that look on guys?
Those are awesome. You KNOW I'd be wearing them if I could find them in my size!
