1000 Miles for $135 ?!?!? That is a steal, i think they are normally around $400
I've seen some go up to $500....these were regularly priced at $345 and $380, then they were on sale for over $200, then you had the additional discount...i can see why it sold out like crazy...when i got online, there was only size 14 left...then that size sold out too...here was the original post on slickdeals. you should signup with slickdeals and get alerts whenever another sale occurs. the site said that if the shoes didn't fit, you can return them for $5....i would go to nordstrom or neiman marcus to try them on so that in the future, you will get an idea of what you're buying size wise online when another sale comes about.
Any input on how long leather-soled shoes and boots last before needing resoling?
I noticed some of the Aldens have rubber/treaded soles that look like leather soles except from the bottom. Can that sort of sole be readily chosen at typical cobbler when it's time to resole a pair of shoes with a typical leather sole?

I have a pair of Justin cowboy boots that are about 10 years old or so. They aren't worn on rough concrete that much though. Smooth "floor" concrete and dirt and grass mostly.
Unfortunately, the Aldens can be very pricey. But, I'm starting to learn to buy quality over quantity
It adds up, lol.
I'm starting to like these Carminas, shell cordovan double monks
