What are your thoughts about Primers under foundation?
I bought a new MAC foundation and Primer. Really like the results. it gives a Dewey look and not so much Matt
For summer.
used to use the Dermablend for color correction, but it did nothing it promises to do, but makes your skin softer and fills in cracks.

I thought moisturizer, primer, and liquid mineral, foundation, AND mineral powder was TOO much in this heat..

What do you think?

I use Primer before putting foundation too. Mine is Smashbox Photo Finish Oil free Primer. I think it helps control oil.
My make up routine consist of Moisturizer, Primer, Liquid Foundation and Powder. Sometimes, I skip the Liquid Foundation because of the heat and use BB Cream and Powder.

I don't use foundation primer all over my face.
Use it under eye to shore up my corrector.
The Ulta brand is lite, clear & effective. Costs a little less than
designer brands & it has staying power. I don't use foundation
during warm weather so I can't speak on it.

The other thread mentioned using anti-chafing gel as primer. I read about it somewhere else and tried it, after I had tried a few different primers and hadn't really cared for them. The monistat anti-chafing gel actually works really well as a primer.

I don't use moisturizer under makeup because it makes my makeup run in the heat.

I've been using this for years. I watch coupons, and have a stash of it. It works just well as the expensive primers.

I only use my primer under my eyes and on my lids. I like my Diorshow Primer.
