I agree, where did that come from?? Along with men shaving their arms and legs as well. Outside of competitive swimming it's kind of bizarre....I mean who feels turned on by pre-pubescence?
Blame Hollywood...
From Clark Gable, going bare chested in, It Happened One Night, causing undershirt sales to plummet to
Johnny Weismuller as Tarzan (who has a shaver in the jungle when growing up feral?)
Kirk Douglas as Spartacus (who shaved it back then? Perhaps men are declaring themselves "Spartacus"?)
William Holden, (pre 1958)
John Wayne etc...pick most any leading man that was 'shirtless' in a movie from cinema's inception it's 'revealing'.
Hollywood the original "man-scapers"
trimming the brush around the tree makes the tree look taller ( even if it ain't LOL)
Most women won't tell you this... but shaving actually has the reverse effect & instead accentuates how small or short that "tree" is. There are no optical illusions, we see it for exactly what it is/isn't.. Lol
I guess they actually have self-esteem and are secure in their masculinity, as opposed to being desperately worried what people like you might think of them.

I like my man all natural. I can't stand trimmed body hair on men.
Unless he asks for a tossed salad, right?
