My husband is gorgeous and he has dark hair dark eyes dark beard and lovely Middle East complexion. He reminds me of George Michael in his ‘As’ video... so I’m not complaining however my ideal male celebrity is the late great beautiful blond and blue eyed Adonis that was Mr Rutger Hauer!! Rutger was the most hottest thing on this planet and he was brainy as well!

I've heard Rutger Hauer was a brainy man! Very sexy! I read he could speak 7 languages and was a brilliant man. He is missed.
I prefer dark, tall men. But that doesn't mean I don't also like fair men. But ultimately it comes down to the man himself. What he looks like, is he confidant, does he carry himself well, dress well, have some interests, have a good job/career, is reasonably intelligent, reads at least a little, etc.
In reading this post a while later, to see what was recd, I noticed that I misspelled confident. I hate when I do that.
By "reads at least a little," I mean books. Not Field & Stream. Some men can be boring. They have few interests and don't ponder things generally, or they aren't inquisitive or curious about different things.
I think I read somewhere, that we tend to be attracted to people who look like our parents. My dad had black hair and dark eyes. In his prime, he looked a lot like Seth McFarlane. Soooo I find myself drawn to dark haired men. Both of my husbands had dark hair...although curiously, both of them had dark hair/blue eyes.
Doesn't mean I don't find some fine fine fine specimens of manhood with other coloring though.
I think it depends on where the lady is from and her personal tastes. A young professional woman in Toronto isn’t likely to be attracted to the same kind of guy as a woman who grew up on a ranch in the rural Deep South because they may have very different experiences and preferences.
