I think prints--florals and plaids in particular--are going to be big for fall. That's cool with me, as I like good prints. I have a great classic plaid wool skirt that I plan to pull out this season. I'm also thinking shades of purple along with cobalt will remain strong.

Tons of deep jewel tones where I am. Just bought a formal for Navy Ball, and it's a deep, shimmering eggplant.

Cobalt paired with aqua/turquoise seemed to be a big trend. Not sure if it still is; I let my In Style subscription lapse...LOL.

You know what trend I'm sick of? The big chunky turquoise necklace. EVERY-body is wearing it, paired with all kinds of non-matching colors -- pink, yellow, etc. Glad I didn't invest.

Will be interesting to see if the MC Hammer-style pants will take off. Have seen them on a few trendy celebs like Rihanna.

I hope the Hammer pants won't take off.
They should have never been "put on". They almost look like I Dream of Jeannie pants.

I can't imagine any sane person wearing MC Hammer pants! LMAO celebs, sure... but any normal person going out to dinner and a movie or the grocery store... I just don't see it happening. I hope not anyway! No one I know is going to be wearing them. They can take off all they want, they won't be on this body LMAO.

Emerald green
Capes like the old fashion times that are like a sweater with sleeve holes.
The bellian hats that look like sweater beanie hats. Chunky scarfs.
