Cant do that here for 9 months. Too freaking cold for me to wear "PJ's" outside, which involve going shirtless with just a pair of sweatpants .
Regardless, I always spend time dressing up, combing my hair, and cloaking myself in pleasantly scented cologne before going outside. I try my level best to cast the best manly image of myself amongst others. It just feels odd to go out undressed.
Some people are more beautiful than others. So it all depends on how you are capable of presenting yourself. For me, it takes a lot more effort to look like a handsome man. I would most certainly look like a hobo without neatly combing my hair, using cologne, and making the right choice of concealing well tailored clothes.

I think it looks sloppy and lazy IMO. But if you like looking like you just got out of bed sloppy and lazy that's fine too. I was brought up that if you go out you wear proper clothes. I sometimes do work at high schools. Some of the clothes worn by some girls looks like they went through a hookers closet.
I think its pretty common...I dont really have an issue with it, if its at night time, and you are going to get some milk, bread, eggs or something for breakfast the next morning...if you are doing full grocery shopping or shopping for electronics, then its pretty tacky.
what I hate the most though, is when see an adult who is fully dressed and has a couple of kids with them who are in their pajama's....at one clock in the afternoon, or anytime of day/night....thats pretty tacky right there.
