What are the top brands for Cosmetics ? (product, afford, American)

Dont think for one minute expenisive means best.. go for the ones not tested or claim not to be tested on animals and ones with no phthalates, water based foundation is much better too....

i like either MAC, or Too Faced for makeup. Strong pigment, true colors, long lasting.

I think Chanel but it is expensive. I like Clinique which is more affordable but I have gotten compliments when I wear it.
