I am pretty sure some people are fascinated by color names. I was wondering, if you find any color names to by funny, what are examples of some funny ones?

I know for Fall 2018 there is a brand that has an orangey red color known as "Ketchup".

I wouldn't buy a garment named "Ketchup". But the trend for naming a variety of shades that are mainly red, blended with varying degrees of purple, in the "cool" spectrum of red, after berries is going strong. "Plumberry", blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, and various made-up berry names.

Practically every fall my favorite brand has a color known as "Fig", which is a brownish purple color; this seems to be one of their more popular fall colors.

It is my favorite color, but I find the name to be sweet and cute, giving me a sense of innocence when I wear it, especially if I wear an interlock polo in that color. Ketchup on the other hand is just plain hilarious and odd.

You should go onto Amazon's shoes section and get a load of some of the bizarre names Chaco have come up with for their strap colors/designs. For example, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012RTII00

At least in Chacoland "black" is still "black".

I didn't realize that a "sense of innocence" could be experienced due to wearing a certain color. Furthermore, I didn't realize the sense could then be enhanced by wearing an interlock polo in said color.
But I'm a little slow sometimes.
