An amateur athlete has died in hospital in Argentina after injecting Vaseline into her breasts in an attempt to make them bigger.
Sonia Perez Llanzon, 39, suffered a fatal blood clot in her lung a month after being admitted to hospital with breathing problems following the dangerous procedure.
I never knew Vaseline could kill anyone. My grandma use to rub it on my elbows and knees to condition my skin when I was very young. Wow, this is strange. I'm assuming she used too much of it and it clogged major arteries in the chest. That's the only logical guess I can come up with. I think that was dumb anyway. If she wanted to make her boobs look bigger, she could've went the less deadly route and got breast implants or better yet, some push-up bras.
Ladies, be happy with the current size of your boobs! Stop trying to imitate someone else or conform to the stupid illogical things Society wants you to conform to! It doesn't and will not actually make you a better person. Smh

Vaseline does not kill anyone . Rubbing it on your elbows and knees is nowhere near the same as injecting it into your body. LOTS of things could "kill" you if you inject them into your body...
I can't even fathom why someone would do that. I can understand wanting to change your appearance, but what the heck made her think that was safe or would give her the results she was looking for????
I wouldn't say the sins of vanity as much as some mental illness similar to other body dysmorphic/eating disorders, etc. Usually women who do damage to their bodies from these disorders are not "vain" so much as have very low self-esteem and a disorder that makes them feel they have to be "perfect".
Apparently this is not new in this region of the world (from the same article): "Doctors have warned in the past about increasing numbers of men injecting themselves with Vaseline, which contains petroleum, to increase the size of their penises."
