I just bought 3 tubes of Wet & Wild lipstick at Rite Aid. I love the lipstick, and love that I paid $.69-$.99 a tube. It stays on and keeps your lips moist. Get u some.
I just found Revlon's Colorstay Overtime lipstick. Target had it for around $7-8. Lasted through dinner, sleeping, shower/shampoo, breakfast and was still there at lunch!
I buy the Wet & wild .I refuse to pay 7 or 8 dollars for lipstick. If I can get to a flea market I can get Revlon and the other name brands for about $2 a tube.
More skin care than makeup, but I do swear by Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion.
I was thinking the same thing. Cheapest way to look pretty is to take care of your skin. Lately I'm all about kukui nut oil as a moisturizer for my face. A little bit goes a long way and it soaks in really good and make my skin all pretty and "glowy". If glowy isn't a word it should be.
It also makes your eyelashes look darker and works great as an eye cream/moisturizer.
Before I discovered kukui nut oil I used to use either olive oil or coconut oil. They work well, too, but can be greasy if you aren't careful.
Eat lots of sweet potatoes and drink a lot of water and get plenty of sleep.
I buy vitamin E oil from Family Dollar and mix a pea sized bit with my moisturizer at night. It's great for dry skin in winter, but even during the summer I'll do it because Vitamin E is an anti-inflammatory and it helps with redness and acne.
E.L.F (Eyes Lips Face) makeup. It's cheap (I think I paid $3 for tinted moisturizer and $5 for foundation), sold at Target and cruelty-free.
