How many inches are considered wide shoulders for guys?

A guy i know has wide shoulders, but looking at him you cannot tell because he also has "big hips" so he balances out.

IDK how how one would mention it; I guess it has to do partly with their height.

It is about proportions. Shoulders wider than hips, with a straight not sloping shape.

Personally, I don't think I've ever paid particular attention to shoulders. On the list of features I'm attracted to, shoulders are pretty low. And I DEFINITELY don't like the physique of the men pictured above.
Same here. Not liking the posted pictures. They look mean

lol, of course its oversaturated. Every hipster is a thinner build, along with every guy who "doesn't want to get bulky" but who also isn't fat.

There are WAY more of these guys then there are broad shouldered, solidly strong guys.

Maybe where you live. I see way more strong guys than thin.

No way! I am seeing what's out there. Take a look at internet dating ads and see how many more men have athletic builds compared to thin...athletic/muscular is extremely common and thin is rare. It is pretty much a uniform these days...just about every young man feels tremendous pressure to bulk up and become a strong man...very few opt out.
