I don't like chains. An earring or 2 sure, even a small necklace. But anything else is too much--big gold chain necklaces, gold teeth. Too much jewelry may be with issue.
I had a guy hit on me, gold chains, teeth, earrings. Needless to say I got a thug-wannabe vibe from him, and was not interested.
It depends - Steven Tyler and other Rock Stars it fits and looks really cool they can carry off that look. However, most men are not Rock Stars and cannot wear that look.
I think one ring or one necklace looks fine on most men so do earrings - less is better.
I went on a blind date years ago and there were so many things wrong with this date - he was really late, out of control ego, alot of attitude - narcissistic type - yuck ! and like it couldn't be any worse . . . he was wearing a ton of jewelry - eeww !
I'm not kidding - I think he had 4-5 rings - lots of gold chains and lots of bracelets - yuck ! I'm the type of person that finds the best in others, my friends say I'm the optimist, however, this was the absolute worst first impression I've ever had.
Needless, to say I was quickly walking after lunch saying Ciao to him and all the jewelry!
I think it looks fine. A guy who can pull it off looks pretty good, maybe it's the contrast between the rough-around-the-edges masculinity with a little bit of bling. Not too much bling, though... I don't see the appeal of Mr. T.
I think watches, dog tags, and earrings look incredibly sexy on some guys if they know how to wear them.
Rosary bracelets and necklaces are nice too.
