Well, I've had about 30 pairs, then I got rid of about 10 because they were uncomfortable. Then the other 4-5 pairs got destroyed by my puppy. So now I believe I have about 10 pairs: 3 winter boots, 1 pair of flip-flops, 1 sandals, 1 for special occasion, 3 flats like ballets, 2 work our shoes, (and Im not sure if slippers count here, I have 2 pairs of those).
1 Pair of slipper/shoes/worn daily
1 Purple Pair of Keds/worn when I have on purple
1 Navy Pair of Keds/worn with navy blue slacks
1 Black Pair of Keds/worn with jeans
1 Gray Pair of Keds/worn with gray jeans
1 White Pair of work sneakers/worn to do yard work, cleaning
1 Brown Pair of Snow Boots/worn when there is light snow or rain
1 Black Pair of Granny Boots/worn to weddings and funerals
1 Purple Pair of Snow Tennis Shoe/Boots/worn when there is more than 2 feet of snow
I've never counted, but I'm pretty confident I have more than 40 pairs...maybe between 45 and 50'ish. I probably wear 10-15 pairs out of that number mainly because I don't wear heels much anymore. I'm at a point in my life where I'd prefer cute, but comfy shoes vs. those that hurt my feet.
I have 1 pair of flip flops, 1 pair of Teva casual shoes, 1 pair of running/workout shoes, and 2 pairs of Allen Edmonds. One in black, the other in Walnut. Plus I have boots and shoes for work (military) but I don't count those.
