Or t shirts that are purposely too small to show off their muscles? Personally I think they usually look ridiculous and are just trying to compensate for something lol.
I think it looks good when they make an effort to "showcase" their hard work and dedication. However, there is a fine line between showcasing and out-and-out tryhards.
To me, showcasing is wearing a tailored dress shirt, or those athletic-cut hoodies with the material that lightly "hugs" the muscles.
Tryhard is those Under Armour or Nike compression shirts two sizes too small where you can see the nips and the slight stomach fat roll as they stroll about the perimeter of the free weight section in "air lats" mode
Doesn't bother me. If somebody likes to wear smaller size t-shirts, good for them. If somebody likes oversized clothes, great. Men who show off their muscles because they are proud of them are fine, they worked for it, so whatever feels good its good.
I'm pretty muscular and have wide broad shoulders to go with it. I never wear skin tight shirts because it makes it hard to work and move. I find it comical when dudes wear those form fitted body shirts. Most didn't get their muscles from hard manual labor and a tough life. Who are they trying to impress flexing all around guys like me who have dirty clothes, cuts, scrapes and scars to show where those muscles came from.....
Conclusion, wear a shirt that fits and stop flexing and looking at yourself in the mirror. Being vein and conceited won't help your cause much either.
No different than women with very low-cut tops. Show-offs / attention-seeking.
But usually when out, I am not paying such close attention to others anyhow. if I just happen to see it, I would think he's showing off his body. Then go about my business. never really something I dwelled on.
Sometimes I wear those shirts, when I'm going to the store to grab some groceries after a workout or whatever. I really don't care what anyone thinks. It's not like I'm wearing it to the opera or a fancy restaurant. If you don't like the look of my large muscular arms, then don't look.
The only shirts that make people look bad are the spandex infused ones. Most people wear a regular size, but because of their muscles it just hugs them closer, no problem with that.

There's a place for everything. The beach? Playing sports? Working out? yes. As casual attire? nope. Trashy.
